If you two read the article instead of just the title, you'll see his words were nothing more than a compliment towards D3D. He says it's better, but he has no plans on dropping or converting from OpenGL.

Maybe because I can see a game with my own eyes and can determine if a game is good--not falling for the hype--but no one should be happy that a game like KZ3 isn't doing well. If a developer is trying to bring forth quality don't try to tear them down.

I guess that's a decent date, wish it was sooner though. I don't think there is too much competition around that time to hurt sales anyway. Or I should say, there isn't any game coming out around that time I'll be spending my loot on other than Dues.

TDM in Gears was previously known as Warzone and Execution. TDM now in Gears 3 has pool of lives the team shares until it's the last man/woman standing.

Gears has a delay they add to all the characters that spawn. So whoever is camping can't kill them. It's like a 3 second delay that when campers shoot, it doesn't affect the spawning players. I don't play to many other shooters online, but I figured this method was universal. Is this not the case?
I guess it's a win-win for those involved. Cliff gets to continue being successful, while others get to hug and kiss their console in defense of Cliff's "mockeries"...
